Vidu, an AI-powered video creation tool, makes the process incredibly simple. One of its standout features is the consistency of results, even when providing a very basic prompt and just a single reference image, like an AI-generated avatar. Here’s a quick guide to get started and how to use it in education:
- Sign Up for the Tool: If you don’t have an account yet, register on their platform. It’s free for up to 80 credits per month, allowing you to generate several videos (each 4-second video costs 12 credits).
- Creating a Video:
- Write a prompt (a description of what you want in the video).
- Upload several reference photos to customize the result.
- Click “Create.”
- Edit or Download:
- Once the video is generated, you can download it directly or re-edit it if needed. Re-editing costs only 4 credits, compared to the 12 credits for initial creation.

In our simulated company at school, we are going to use this tool to create customised content for our social media, for example for the launch of new products. We provided a picture of an employee (created with MidJourney) and added several pictures of our water bottles (created with AI Leonardo, as explained in this post), and caps later, and asked the tool to create a 4s video (maximum length in the free version). Here are the results.
Prompt: A Riberpublic employee, wearing one of our caps with Riberpublic logo. Riberpublic is a company that works with advertising and merchandise products
Prompt: A Riberpublic employee, drinking from a water bottle with Riberpublic logo. Riberpublic is a company that works with advertising and merchandise products
With 80 monthly renewable credits and impressive speed, Vidu is an excellent choice for anyone looking to create impactful visual content effortlessly and it will be a very valuable tool for my students working on their business plans, since it will allow them to show their products and services.
